These assessments are legal requirements that have been placed on most premises under the Regulatory Reform Order 2005.

All fire risk assessments are carried out by fully qualified and experienced staff, all of whom have a vast knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Order 2005. This ensures Assessments are carried out to the required legal standards. Following the assessment you will receive an extensive report that will outline any ‘Significant Findings’ and a recommended ‘Action Plan’. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN ASSESSOR VISITS

When one of our Fire Safety Assessors visits your premises, they will conduct an inspection of the premises and look at the test and service records of the Fire Precautions within the building. Photographs may be taken to record compliant and non compliant areas and all the information will be compiled into a detailed insurance approved report which you will receive within a week of the site visit. The assessor will contact you approximately two weeks later to ensure that you clearly understand the report and are completely satisfied.

A Legal Requirement

Under the current legislation, Fire Safety Assessments are a legal requirement for all UK businesses and organisations who employ 5 or more people. Each organisation must appoint a nominated ‘Responsible Person’ whose role it is to remove the risk of fire and associated hazards for all people on the premises. The risk assessment must be documented and available for inspection by the required authorities.

When booking an assessment we will agree a mutually convenient time to visit your premises. You will then be provided with a comprehensive report that details our findings and outlines any improvements that may be required.

If you are buying or selling a flat within a block or converted property you may be required to provide a fire risk assessment and asbestos surveys to cover the common area of the property. We are able to provide a quick and efficient service and liaise with your Solicitor to speed up the buying or selling process should this be required.
